Arise The Orphan Children Uganda

Arise the Orphan Needy Vulnerable Children in Uganda

Arise The Orphan Children Uganda (A.T.O.C.U.) is a Christian organization that seeks to address the needs of orphans, vulnerable children, widows, and other marginalized groups in Uganda. A.T.O.C.U. believes that working with orphans and vulnerable children requires the collective effort of many individuals and organizations. The organization was founded in 2016 to help children from infancy up to 18 years of age who are orphaned or in need of assistance. A.T.O.C.U. provides basic necessities such as clothing, education, healthcare, and safe drinking water. The organization also engages in evangelization and income-generating activities. A.T.O.C.U. is guided by biblical teachings such as James 1:17, which speaks of revealing the Father’s heart to orphans and widows, and Matthew 18:19, which emphasizes the power of collective prayer. Isaiah 1:17 inspires A.T.O.C.U. to seek justice, defend the fatherless, and plead for the widow in its work.

MY STORY

MY STORY

Hello, my name is Musasizi Emmanuel. I am 27 years old and I come from Jinja, Uganda in East Africa. I spend 90% of my money on helping the needy, and my only means of transport is a bicycle.

Growing up as an orphan was tough for me, as my father died when I was young. However, I was lucky to have been taken care of by people who showed me unconditional love and care.

In 2016, I founded Arise the Orphan Children Uganda to help street kids and orphans in my community. As an orphan myself, I was compelled to run to their rescue and give them renewed hope for a better tomorrow.

Right now, there are many young orphan children in my community who are starving and haven’t had a good meal in days. I want to share their situation and ask for your support in any way you can, whether it be through donations or sharing our story with others.

I love humanity and will prove it through my actions. Thank you for listening.

This is Musasizi Emmanuel, Founder of Arise the Orphan Children Uganda.”
